CONGRESSIONAL AFFAIRS ANALYST

About the Position: This position is with the National Guard Bureau, Joint Staff, Office of Legislative Liaison, Arlington, VA. About the Surrounding Area: Situated in Northern Virginia on the south bank of the Potomac River directly across from Washington D.C. Arlington is headquarters to many departments and agencies of the federal government, including the Department of Defense and is the location of many national memorials and museums.

Develop innovative and strategic programs on behalf of the Chief, Legislative Affairs.

Develop business processes and policies on matters not governed by higher echelons or regulatory guidance.

Formulate official responses to written and telephonic requests from Members of Congress, their staff, and Congressional committees.
