About the role:
Responsible for Connected solutions electrical testing and evaluation. Support the development and implementation of testing for existing and next-generation/emerging connected/Telematics systems, antenna performance, RTLS, UWB/BLE, and RFID technologies. The position also involves testing of various operator-assist functionalities, controllers, and production-ready wireless solutions. Coordinate activities among engineering, firmware/software teams, energy storage solutions team, and truck development teams. Lead and coordinate DFMEA creation, test plan drafting, test execution, and data analysis. Troubleshooting, issue tracking, and resolution of any current or future system-related field service requests.
What you will do:
- Test Planning & Design:
- Develop or refine test procedures and test cases for defined subsystems and features. Ensure test coverage aligns with requirements and system use cases
- System & Subsystem Testing:
- Execute manual and semi‑automated tests at the bench, HIL, and vehicle level. Capture logs and data; ensure tests are run accurately and efficiently
- Validation & Compliance:
- Support validation campaigns to confirm compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. Assist in test readiness reviews
- Current Product Support:
- Support root‑cause investigations for field or plant issues. Reproduce issues, collect diagnostic data, and collaborate with development teams on corrective actions
- Supplier & Stakeholder Interaction:
- Participate in technical reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Provide feedback on testability, test results, and observed issues
When & Where:
- 25% travel (Houston to Marengo or vice versa)
- The work is primarily done in an office environment with other work locations including the development lab, the manufacturing line, and field locations such as customer facilities. Microsoft Office suite of tools, along with data analysis software.
