Console Operator - 2nd Shift

Monitors and operates a security command center, issuing badges, tracking access credentials, and logging incidents using electronic systems and surveillance tools.
Description:
In the Security Command Center (SCC), the Console Operator operates and controls the electronic data collection equipment in the SCC by means of CPUs, monitors, alarms and control panels. The positions is under the direction of a higher level technical Security Supervisor. The Console Operator is responsible for satisfactory completion of each tour of duty.
Schedule:
1st Shift 7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday to Friday
Essential Functions:
- Produces employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards.
- Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control.
- Reports security violations and provides guidance to support staff to properly resolve issues.
- Prepares incident reports and maintains security tracking logs, security documents and key records.
- Has knowledge of the operations of a central command center (e.g., access control, dispatching, surveillance equipment); includes knowledge of the procedures for handling security inquiries and the utilization of security technology.
- Has knowledge of policies and procedures used to validate, process and track access credentials of authorized persons to ensure a safe work environment at company facilities.
Education:
- High School or GED - Required
- Associate Degree or college enrollment - Preferred
Experience:
- Less than one year in Security environment/industry. Completion of course in computer operation may be substituted for 6 months of specialized experience
Additional Requirement: This position requires successful completion of an OSHA-compliant Respirator Fit Test.
The hourly base salary for this position ranges from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of base salary that Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting.
