Job Description
Our client is seeking a Construction Administrator to support the successful delivery of construction projects by providing construction administration, contract management, and project coordination services. This role will oversee construction-phase activities, ensure compliance with contract documents, and serve as a key liaison between clients, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders.

Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Administer construction contracts throughout the construction phase of assigned projects.
- Monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Review architectural and engineering plans, specifications, and technical documents.
- Coordinate and track RFIs, shop drawing submittals, contractor correspondence, and project documentation.
- Review contractor pay applications, change order requests, and supporting documentation.
- Perform site visits to observe construction activities and prepare accurate daily observation reports.
- Coordinate and document construction progress meetings with project stakeholders.
- Assist with constructability reviews and identify potential project issues.
- Maintain project schedules and monitor construction milestones.
- Ensure quality control procedures are followed, including documentation, correspondence, and project closeout requirements.
- Coordinate post-construction services, inspections, punch lists, and final project documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal project teams to support successful project completion.
- Manage multiple construction projects while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Associate degree with 4+ years of relevant construction experience, or a minimum of 6 years of progressive construction industry experience.
- Experience providing construction administration services for civil, municipal, commercial, institutional, or infrastructure projects.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contractor payment applications.
- Knowledge of construction contract documents, general conditions, and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of construction quality control procedures and documentation requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and project teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to verify quantities, measurements, and project costs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
