Construction Assistant Project Manager
Summary
Assists project managers in planning, scheduling, and executing large-scale commercial and industrial interior buildouts using Procore and Bluebeam.

- Assist the Project Manager in managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Help prepare and maintain project schedules, look-ahead schedules, and logistics plans.
- Draft, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, ASIs, change events, and change orders.
- Support subcontractor buyout, scope reviews, and contract drafting.
- Coordinate with superintendents to align field activities with schedule milestones and inspections.
- Help prepare and review monthly pay applications, cost reports, and budget updates.
- Maintain accurate project documentation in Procore, including drawings, logs, and correspondence.
- Assist with OAC meeting preparation, meeting minutes, and follow-up action items.
- Support punch list management, closeout deliverables, and turnover to owners/tenants.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- Typically 2–5 years of commercial or industrial construction experience, ideally with prior Project Engineer or field coordination responsibilities.
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Experience with Procore (or similar), Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with a professional, team-oriented attitude.
- Comfortable being on active job sites and working closely with field staff, subs, and inspectors.
