Construction Engineer
Job description
Location: Lebanon, IN - 100% onsite
Duration: 12+ months
Our client seeks a field-focused construction engineer (MEP) to support a large capital project on a full-time onsite basis for an initial 12-month contract. They will work closely with construction, engineering, and EPCM teams to resolve field issues, manage RFIs, coordinate with piping and other trade contractors, and drive solutions rather than simply reporting problems.
Responsibilities include overseeing HVAC, plumbing, process utilities, electrical systems, and fire protection installations, monitoring daily progress and schedule risks, supporting QA/QC documentation and test packs, participating in walkdowns and punch list activities, and helping prepare systems for mechanical completion and commissioning.
