Construction Engineer (Marine and Offshore)
Summary
Creates construction work packs and offshore repair plans, including method statements, lifting plans, and QA/QC documents, while coordinating safety and execution for marine engineering projects.
Job Description:
1) Refer to repair specification and prepare Construction Work Packs, following client’s work pack format.
2) Prepare details step by step within timeline. Incorporate with client and offshore practices to generate and establish below documents (but not limited to):
2.1 Method Statement
2.2 Welding procedure
2.3 MTO and cutting plan
2.4 Lifting plan
2.5 Execution plan
2.6 QA & QC Document
2.7 Equipment, tool & consumable list for job execution
2.8 Blasting and Paining procedure
2.9 Job card detail and document
2.10 ITP
2.11 Develop/coordinate on process/mechanical isolating plan and mark up on Isometric drawing
3) Work with Safety Department to develop:
3.1 Task risk assessment
3.2 Rescue Plan & drill exercise
3.2 Permit package for offshore hot work, confine space entry.
4) Analyse and propose best technical solution relevant to offshore repairs requirement. Follow up and coordinate engineering and operation activities from preparation to execution phases.
5) Monitor execution schedule and rectify difficulties faced during project execution. Continue to improve efficiency and productivity.
Requirement:
Hold Marine Engineering degree
Min. 5 years experience
