Construction Engineering Manager [SL]

Oversee technical planning, engineering coordination, and design management for construction projects from inception to completion.

Review engineering designs, construction methodologies, temporary works proposals, and buildability assessments.

Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to address technical issues and facilitate project progress.

Manage the preparation and review of shop drawings, method statements, technical submissions, and construction-related documents.

Ensure technical solutions comply with project specifications, applicable regulations, authority requirements, and contractual obligations.

Identify engineering risks and recommend practical solutions to minimise construction delays and improve project performance.

Coordinate design development and resolve technical discrepancies affecting construction schedules.

Lead value engineering exercises to enhance constructability, optimise costs, and improve construction efficiency.

Support project and site teams in planning construction sequences, temporary works, and resource allocation.

Monitor statutory submissions, permits, and approval processes to ensure timely project implementation.

Maintain compliance with company quality systems, ISO standards, and EHS requirements.

Promote the effective use of BIM and digital construction tools to improve design coordination and project delivery.

Provide technical reports and updates to senior management.

Guide and develop engineering and technical personnel.
