Construction Field Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers and superintendents in planning, coordinating, and executing construction activities on-site.
- Interpret project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure work is completed accurately and on time.
- Conduct daily site inspections to verify progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Track quantities, materials, and equipment to support project documentation and cost control.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to resolve technical or logistical issues.
- Prepare and maintain field reports, RFIs, submittals, and as-built drawings.
- Support layout and surveying efforts to ensure proper alignment and elevation.
- Monitor adherence to project schedules and assist in updating progress reports.
- Promote a culture of safety and enforce company and OSHA safety policies on-site.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent field experience).
- 1–3 years of construction related experience (internships included)
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and project documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD).
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced field environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
