Construction Logistics Coordinator

Job Summary

Plan and execute comprehensive logistics for construction equipment and materials, coordinating shipments, site deliveries, and staging to support civil construction projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute end-to-end logistics arrangements for construction equipment and materials to ensure timely project delivery
• Coordinate international shipments, customs clearance, traffic management, delivery booking schedules, gate control, and offsite staging yard operations
• Develop and manage site logistics plans aligned with construction schedules to optimize workflow and resource allocation
• Manage delivery sequencing effectively under site space and access constraints to maintain smooth operations
• Collaborate with Main Contractor, consultants, and site teams to synchronize logistics activities and resolve issues
• Oversee off-site staging area and implement just-in-time delivery arrangements to reduce storage needs and delays
• Handle logistics for heavy lift and oversized cargo safely and efficiently when required
• Adapt to a 5.5-day work week and perform shift work during critical project phases, stationed at the project site office

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in civil construction logistics

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Background and experience in trackwork-related construction projects
