Construction Management Representative
Location: Mesa Verde National Park, CO
Compensation: $80,000- $95,000 DOE

Position/Project Overview:
Project Solutions Inc. is seeking a Construction Management Representative for the rehabilitation and stabilization of the Chapin Mesa Archaeological Museum and eight historic NPS residences at Mesa Verde National Park. The construction work includes historic preservation and restoration, structural repairs, masonry repointing, replacement of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), fire/life safety upgrades, and site drainage improvements to preserve and modernize these historic buildings.
This role is contingent upon award of project.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Observing and documenting the construction contractor’s work for progress, workmanship, quality, compliance with contract documents, applicable building codes, and safety standards
- Preparing and uploading daily reports with sufficient photographic documentation of construction activities and site conditions
- Organizing, facilitating, and documenting weekly progress meetings, including preparing agendas, obtaining contractor updates, and distributing meeting notes
- Receiving, logging, reviewing, tracking, and managing submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs), including rejecting incomplete submissions and coordinating the review process
- Reviewing and verifying the contractor’s baseline and progress schedules, maintaining schedule review documentation, and evaluating schedule updates
- Reviewing certified payrolls and payment applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with contract and Department of Labor requirements
- Reviewing delivered materials and equipment, contractor quality control reports, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and other contract-required documentation
- Assisting the Government with inspections, contract changes, RFP documentation, cost estimates, negotiations, dispute documentation, punch lists, and project closeout activities
Required Education, Knowledge and Skills
Education/Certification:
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Training is required.
- Candidates must possess the technical knowledge and skills necessary to interpret construction plans, specifications, schedules, and contract documents.
Experience:
- Experience with similar construction work to observe, document, and verify compliance with contract requirements, plans, and specifications
- Experience reviewing and interpreting construction contracts, drawings, and technical specifications
- Experience monitoring construction progress, workmanship, quality, and safety compliance
- Experience reviewing cost estimates, contractor proposals, and scope changes
- Experience evaluating construction schedules, schedule updates, and project progress
- Experience managing construction documentation, including submittals, RFIs, and project records
- Experience conducting or supporting construction inspections and quality control activities
- Experience using construction management software and standard industry tools for project administration and reporting
Key Attributes & Skills:
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and understand construction contracts, plans, and specifications
- Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and safety regulations
- Ability to observe, document, and verify construction work for quality and contract compliance
- Strong skills in construction documentation, reporting, and record management
- Ability to review cost estimates, proposals, scope changes, and payment requests
- Ability to read, interpret, and evaluate construction schedules and project progress
- Proficiency with construction management software, MS Teams, Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, and MS Project
- Strong communication, meeting facilitation, organization, and professional documentation skills
