Our client is an established A1 Main Contractor in Singapore, undertaking building construction projects across the local construction industry.
Job Responsibilities
Oversee daily construction activities to ensure works are carried out according to project schedules, drawings and specifications.
Manage site operations, including manpower planning, resource allocation and work sequencing.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor construction progress and implement corrective measures to address delays and site issues.
Ensure construction works meet the required quality standards and comply with approved drawings and specifications.
Enforce workplace safety and health requirements across construction activities.
Identify and resolve site coordination, technical and operational issues.
Monitor subcontractors' performance, workmanship and progress to ensure timely completion of works.
Attend site meetings and provide updates on construction progress, outstanding issues and project milestones.
Ensure compliance with relevant authority requirements and construction regulations.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in construction management with a main contractor, preferably on building projects.
