Construction Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the construction team, overseeing daily site activities, project planning, and execution.
  • Plan, implement, and monitor work schedules in line with the master and detailed programmes.
  • Coordinate closely with clients, consultants, designers, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.
  • Review and prepare method statements for client submission.
  • Manage manpower planning and ensure effective allocation of resources for smooth site operations.
  • Monitor site progress and ensure works are carried out safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
  • Identify and resolve site issues in coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities.
  • Ensure smooth and timely execution of construction activities.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in LTA/MRT projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing civil and infrastructure construction works for projects of similar scale and complexity.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
  • Site-based role offering hands-on exposure to major construction activities and project operations.
  • 5.5-day work week, with a structured working environment to support project delivery.
