Construction Manager (Chinese and English bilingual)
Due to business expansion, we are now seeking experienced and responsible Construction Manager to join our team and grow with the company.
Work Location: TUAS (Company provides shuttle bus service)
Main Responsibilities:
Over all in charge of site construction activities:
• To liaise and deal with CM team for daily site activities reporting.
• To prepare and submit progress report and attend weekly coordination meeting.
• Ensure site work progress is well coordinated and run smoothly and safely.
• To work with Technical, QAQC and safety team and ensure all the MEP work is completed according to the required specifications, approved MOS, MSRA, approved drawings and shop drawings and materials.
• Planning ahead in terms of subcontractor manpower, equipment, materials and access.
• Timely availability of construction information for reporting.
• Attend all site inspection as and when requested by construction team.
• To prepare all site documents as necessary for our Document controller to submit through DMCs.
• To prepare weekly schedule to monitor and control site progress.
• To resolve all site coordination problems between different disciplines based on approved construction drawing and shop drawing and raise RFI to DC for submission.
• To identify QAQC site queries to the QAQC team at various stages of the projects.
• Monitoring and supervise the MEP work during the site installation and ensuring Quality finished product in the project.
• Preparing handing over documents and report at the project completion.
Job Requirement
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry
• Proven track record in successfully managing complex construction projects, from inception to completion
• Excellent project management skills, including proficiency in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to navigate challenges and find creative solutions
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stake holders
• Thorough understanding of construction regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards
• Proficiency in project management software and tools
• Fluent in both English and Chinese
