Construction Manager, Gas/Thermal Generation

Position Summary

Integrity PSC is seeking a mid level Construction Manager to oversee field construction activities for gas and thermal generation projects. This role manages contractor coordination, quality assurance, and day to day site oversight for simple cycle and combined cycle facilities, working closely with plant owners, EPC contractors, and union labor to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification.

The Construction Manager works with a moderate level of independence, reporting project status and escalating issues to senior project leadership as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day to day construction activities for gas and thermal generation projects

Coordinate and monitor EPC contractor and subcontractor performance against project schedule, budget, and quality standards

Conduct field inspections of combustion systems, pressure vessels, piping, and balance of plant work

Support contract administration, change order review, and progress reporting

Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 85, and project specific safety requirements

Coordinate outages and tie in work with plant operations to minimize disruption

Participate in punch list development, commissioning, and project closeout

Communicate project status, risks, and issues to project owners and stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent field experience

5 to 10 years of construction management experience, gas or thermal generation project experience preferred

Familiarity with utility scale construction contracts and EPC oversight

Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites

Preferred Qualifications

Combined cycle plant construction experience

Experience managing union labor and collective bargaining agreements

Familiarity with NERC compliance requirements

OSHA 30 certification

Additional Information

Travel: Frequent, may require extended stays at project site

Work Environment: Primarily field based at active generation facility construction sites

Physical Requirements: Ability to access and navigate active plant environments, climb structures, and work around industrial equipment
