CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Project Management
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all construction activities on-site
- Develop project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones
- Monitor progress and resolve any delays or site issues
Site Supervision
- Oversee daily site operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Manage site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
Cost & Budget Control
- Monitor project costs and ensure work stays within budget
- Review and approve material requisitions and site expenses
- Work with QS (Quantity Surveyor) on cost tracking and variations
Quality Control
- Ensure construction works meet company and regulatory standards
- Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures
- Rectify defects and ensure proper handover standards
Safety Management
- Enforce workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations
- Conduct safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Ensure compliance with MOM and BCA safety requirements
Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and engineers
- Coordinate with authorities for permits and inspections
- Report project updates to senior management regularly
Documentation
- Maintain site records, progress reports, and inspection reports
- Ensure proper documentation for claims, variations, and approvals
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- Prefer 5–10 years of experience in construction industry
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction methods
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and large teams
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in Singapore construction environment is preferred
