CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (Viaduct Project)

ROLES& RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and manage all road construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Oversee road diversion and traffic management works, ensuring compliance with approved Traffic Management Plans (TMP) and authority requirements.
• Supervise road widening works, including earthworks, drainage, pavement, kerb, utility protection, and asphalt paving.
• Coordinate project schedules, manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Monitor work progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, and work procedures.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, clients, and authorities.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical or operational issues.
• Ensure smooth coordination between different construction trades and disciplines.
• Rectify quality issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Coordinate with WSH personnel to mitigate site risks and hazards.
• Assist in procurement planning and subcontractor management.
• Maintain proper documentation for inspections, approvals, and project tracking.
• Control and manage project manpower productivity and resource allocation.

Requirement

• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil or viaduct/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge in bridge/viaduct construction methodology.
• Familiar with Singapore construction regulations and LTA requirements.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
