CONSTRUCTION MANAGER (Viaduct Project)
ROLES& RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and manage all road construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
- Oversee road diversion and traffic management works, ensuring compliance with approved Traffic Management Plans (TMP) and authority requirements.
- Supervise road widening works, including earthworks, drainage, pavement, kerb, utility protection, and asphalt paving.
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower, machinery, and materials.
- Monitor work progress and ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Review construction drawings, method statements, and work procedures.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, clients, and authorities.
- Attend site meetings and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Ensure smooth coordination between different construction trades and disciplines.
- Rectify quality issues and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Coordinate with WSH personnel to mitigate site risks and hazards.
- Assist in procurement planning and subcontractor management.
- Maintain proper documentation for inspections, approvals, and project tracking.
- Control and manage project manpower productivity and resource allocation.
Requirement
- Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil or viaduct/infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge in bridge/viaduct construction methodology.
- Familiar with Singapore construction regulations and LTA requirements.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
