Construction Operation Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple construction projects and ensure smooth project execution.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise site activities to meet project schedules, quality standards, and budget requirements.
- Manage manpower deployment and coordinate a workforce of more than 30 employees, including foreign work pass holders.
- Drive more than 30 employees from dormitory to different project sites daily.
- Oversee work pass administration, manpower planning, and ensure compliance with MOM regulations.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, developers, government authorities, and subcontractors regarding project progress and operational matters.
- Review construction drawings, work schedules, method statements, and project documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), BCA regulations, MOM requirements, and all relevant statutory requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Handle and resolve complaints from residents, clients, and members of the public
- Coordinate with project teams to investigate complaints and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Monitor project costs, procurement, subcontractor performance, and overall project profitability.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Singapore's construction industry, including at least 5 years in a managerial position.
- Possess a valid Singapore Class 4 Driving License and be able to operate company lorries when required.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore construction regulations, including BCA, MOM, Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), and other relevant statutory requirements.
- Familiar with BCA-related construction and safety requirements and industry-recognised training courses.
- Experience managing more than 30 workers, including foreign employees and work pass holders.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently under pressure and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Must be willing to work on Saturdays.
