The Construction Project Director is responsible for leading and managing major construction projects from project acquisition through to execution, with full accountability for P&L, contract management, risk management, and maximizing Share of Wallet.
You will establish, lead, and inspire project capture teams, driving successful project outcomes while positioning Hilti as a strategic partner across key construction projects in Dubai.
What You’ll Do
As a Construction Project Director, you will:
- Lead end-to-end project acquisition and execution, including scope definition, budgeting, resourcing, reporting, and fulfilment
- Own commercial performance, including P&L, contracts, and risk management
- Establish and lead project capture teams, ensuring effective collaboration across functions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with multi-level project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors
- Identify project needs and opportunities, selling the full Hilti value proposition across products, systems, and services
- Lead, coach, and coordinate local sales and project teams to ensure project success
- Drive growth by increasing Hilti’s Share of Wallet across targeted strategic projects
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, supporting long-term partnerships and repeat business
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in construction project management or project directorship, ideally within large or complex projects
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing P&L and contracts
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proven experience working with ADNOC is a must
- Arabic speaker
- Previous experience with an EPC contractor outside Hilti is highly preferred
