Position Overview
LG Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of multifamily, mixed-use, and high-rise residential projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Unlike a traditional general contractor environment, this role provides exposure to both development and construction, allowing you to work alongside project teams throughout the entire lifecycle of a project. You'll partner closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, Development leaders, consultants, and subcontractors while building the skills and experience needed to advance into Project Management.

Key Responsibilities
- Support preconstruction, estimating, buyout, and project planning efforts
- Manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, permits, and change orders
- Maintain tracking logs and project controls throughout the construction lifecycle
- Coordinate project meetings and distribute meeting minutes
- Assist with procurement activities, subcontractor onboarding, and material tracking
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, and delivery timelines
- Partner with field teams to support project execution and subcontractor coordination
- Participate in safety, quality control, and project closeout activities
- Help identify and communicate potential project risks, design changes, and cost impacts
