Construction Project Manager

About the role

At Five Guys, every new opening is much more than a construction project: it is the beginning of a new experience for our customers. As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead our new opening, renovation, and improvement projects, from the initial technical development phases to the final delivery of the restaurant.

You will be a key figure throughout the entire process, with the autonomy to make decisions, solve challenges, and coordinate different teams, ensuring that each project is executed to the highest quality standards, within budget, and meeting established deadlines.

What you'll do

• You will lead projects from start to finish: you will manage new openings, renovations, and restaurant improvements, accompanying each project from its technical definition to its completion and delivery.

• You will coordinate all technical disciplines: you will work hand in hand with architects, engineers, construction companies, suppliers, and external consultants, ensuring the integration of architecture, installations, and civil works.

• You will be where everything happens: on-site: you will conduct periodic visits to supervise work progress, check correct execution, and guarantee compliance with the project and Five Guys' quality standards.

• You will have economic control of your projects: you will monitor budgets, certifications, modifications, and deviations, always seeking the best balance between cost, quality, and the final result.

• You will seek efficient solutions: you will analyze additional costs and conflicting works, evaluating alternatives that optimize investment without compromising quality or the restaurant's operational needs.

• You will set the pace for each project: you will control the planning and key opening dates, anticipating possible delays and taking measures to maintain objectives.

• You will provide technical judgment in every decision: you will review projects, plans, construction details, and technical specifications, as well as evaluate proposals from contractors and suppliers to guarantee their viability.

• You will resolve the challenges that arise during execution: you will identify incidents, evaluate alternatives, and coordinate solutions with different teams so that each project progresses and reaches a successful conclusion.
