CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER

Job Scope:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction projects to ensure they meet quality standards, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Monitor progress and ensure work complies with design and safety standards.
• Manage scheduling, workforce, and resources effectively to prevent delays.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment on-site.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential safety issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure that all on-site personnel comply with safety policies, regulations, and codes.
• Act as the main point of contact for contractors, suppliers, and other team members on-site.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues and keep them informed about project status.
• Facilitate regular meetings to address concerns, update progress, and coordinate tasks.
• Ensure quality standards and specifications are met throughout the construction process.
• Identify and resolve issues related to material quality, construction methods, and workmanship.
• Conduct regular checks on equipment, tools, and materials to maintain quality control.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress, and incidents on-site.
• Prepare and submit reports to upper management and stakeholders as required.
• Handle administrative tasks such as timekeeping, resource tracking, and inventory management.
• Quickly address any on-site challenges, delays, or issues.

Job Requirement

• At least 3 years of site supervisory working experience in construction industry
• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Able to work under sun exposure hazard environment in construction site
• Open minded, empathic and patiently as required to handle workers
• Ability to solve conflict and crisis management
• Detailed, independent and possesses leadership skills
• Able to face challenging tasks and meet high standards and deadlines
• Required to travel between different worksite
• Able to work under harsh working environment but not limited to sun exposure and dusty working environment
• Able to attend to emergency call due to project and works needs beyond office hours
