Job Description & Requirements

The Construction Project Manager leads all phases of a construction project, including planning, procurement, execution, monitoring,and project close-out. They coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors,suppliers, and government authorities to ensure smooth project delivery whilecomplying with all contractual, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project schedules, timelines, and work plans.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Prepare project budgets and cost estimates.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Manage day-to-day construction activities.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
  • Ensure work progresses according to approved drawings and specifications.
  • Monitor project milestones and resolve delays.
  • Track project expenditures against the budget.
  • Project planning and scheduling
  • AutoCAD (basic understanding)
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Review quotations, purchase orders, and invoices.
  • Approve variation orders and manage change requests.
  • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.
  • Prepare snag lists and oversee defect rectification.
  • Obtain completion certificates and approvals.
  • Manage project handover and close-out documentation.
