Construction Project Manager [SL]

1. Construction Management

• Assist in preparing construction contract documents for approval and submission.

• Identify construction requirements based on project scope, size and timeline.

• Implement established policies and procedures to manage construction activities and site risks.

• Monitor project progress against contractual requirements for time, cost and quality.

• Track action items and follow up on matters arising from project meetings.

• Monitor quality assurance and quality control standards to meet project requirements.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards and procedures.

• Monitor subcontractors' work progress and performance against project requirements.

2. Project Completion and Handover

• Review defect lists, outstanding works and variations against approved construction drawings and specifications.

• Verify the completion of rectification works and outstanding items.

• Coordinate commissioning and testing activities to ensure equipment and systems meet project requirements.

• Review technical documents required for project handover and closure.

• Prepare handover and closure documents for approval and submission.

• Monitor defects identified during the defects liability period and coordinate follow-up actions.

3. Workplace Safety and Sustainability

• Ensure construction activities comply with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.

• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.

• Maintain and review accident and incident records in accordance with company procedures.

• Support environmental sustainability initiatives and the implementation of green building standards.

4. Continuous Improvement

• Keep up to date with developments, trends and technologies in the built environment.

• Evaluate improvement initiatives to enhance project time, cost and quality performance.

• Implement risk management plans and appropriate controls in accordance with the company's risk management framework.
