Description Summary:
The Construction Project Manager drives the day-to-day execution of large-scale construction projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules, budgets, and design intent. This role will lead project planning, procurement, and site coordination activities to maintain progress and uphold safety and quality standards. The position requires exceptional organization and communication skills to effectively manage diverse project teams and competing priorities.
Essential Duties:
Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Oversee project teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
Develop and maintain project schedules, cost estimates, and risk management plans.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality standards.
Lead project meetings, providing clear communication between stakeholders, architects, engineers, and clients.
Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and progress reports.
Identify and resolve project issues, conflicts, and delays in a proactive manner.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies across all job sites.
Collaborate with procurement teams to secure materials and equipment in line with project timelines.
Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and execution efficiency.
Education/Training/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
Proven track record managing large-scale and multimillion-dollar projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling software, and financial management principles.
Data center construction experience is a plus but not required.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Kahua, MS Project, or similar).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
