JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Construction Sales Assistant at ISAT Total Support in Fremont, you’ll support our sales team by preparing quotes, processing orders, and following up with customers on seismic bracing and structural support products. You’ll be a key point of contact for contractors, helping keep every sale organized from inquiry through delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Quote Preparation: Prepare and send accurate quotes for seismic bracing and structural support products, using customer requests, plans, and pricing.
• Order Processing: Enter and process sales orders, confirm details with customers and vendors, and make sure orders are complete and accurate.
• Customer Communication: Serve as a point of contact for contractors and customers, answering product, pricing, and order status questions promptly and professionally.
• Sales Team Support: Assist outside sales and project staff with follow-ups, bid tracking, and day-to-day administrative needs.
• Takeoffs and Plan Review: Review plans and specifications to help identify product needs and quantities for quotes.
• Order Follow-Through: Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and shipping to track orders from placement through delivery and resolve any issues.
• Documentation and Records: Maintain organized files for quotes, orders, submittals, and customer correspondence in our systems.
• Accounts Support: Help with invoicing questions, order corrections, and coordination with accounting as needed.
• Pipeline Tracking: Keep customer and project information current so the team can follow up on open quotes and opportunities.
• Team Collaboration: Work with the Fremont branch and other ISAT locations to support customers and share information.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of sales experience (construction/MEP industry preferred).
• Knowledge of construction; ability to read construction plans is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly personality.
• Professional, clean appearance; organized and punctual.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and results-driven approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Reliable transportation and valid California Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel locally to job sites and contractor offices daily.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field is a plus, but not required.
• Must pass a background check
