CONSTRUCTION SECTION MANAGER

Plan, lead and coordinate daily site operations for civil, structural and underground construction works.
Prepare, update and monitor construction working programs, look-ahead schedules and site utilization plans.
Coordinate closely with design, construction, planning, safety and quality teams to resolve technical and site issues.
Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, authorities and stakeholders to ensure smooth work execution and timely approvals.
Review and support the preparation of method statements, risk assessments, safe work procedures and related construction submissions.
Lead site teams and subcontractors to achieve project milestones while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and productivity.
Support project management in progress reporting, coordination meetings, stakeholder updates and recovery planning where required.

Degree in Civil Engineering, preferably presenting relevant post-graduate credentials.
Minimum 10 years of Singapore relevant civil engineering infrastructure experience.
At least 5 years of direct A1 main contractor experience in large scale LTA projects (contract value in excess of S$500 million)
Strong working knowledge of construction sequencing, temporary works interfaces, site planning, subcontractor coordination and authority or stakeholder management.
Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, utility agencies, authorities and project stakeholders.
Able to prepare or review construction programs, method statements, risk assessments and safe work procedures.
PMP or equivalent professional certification will be advantageous.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving and coordination skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced site environment and manage multiple work fronts concurrently and committed to long work hours to meet tight project deadlines (6 days week, 9.5 hours daily).
