Construction Site Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily site construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Monitor site progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities on technical and site matters.
• Review construction drawings and resolve technical issues with the project team.
• Plan and monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and resources to achieve project milestones.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards and contractual requirements.
• Prepare site reports, progress updates, inspection records, method statements, and other project documentation.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors on project coordination.
• Assist in material procurement, scheduling, and site logistics.
• Identify site issues and recommend practical engineering solutions to minimize delays and maintain project quality.
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements and Singapore construction regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the construction or civil engineering industry.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methods.
• Knowledge of Singapore construction practices and relevant codes and regulations.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Able to work independently and under pressure to meet project deadlines.
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and attention to detail.
