Responsibility:
A Construction Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, supervising, and completing construction projects safely, on time, and within budget.
Project Planning & Management
Plan and coordinate daily construction activities.
Prepare work schedules and monitor project progress.
Ensure work is completed according to project specifications and timelines.
Supervise workers, subcontractors, and site activities.
Ensure proper manpower and equipment are available.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants, and clients.
Ensure compliance with MOM, BCA, WSH requirements, and other applicable regulations.
Identify and control site hazards.
Inspect completed works and arrange rectification where necessary.
Coordinate inspections and testing.
Monitor project costs, materials, manpower, and equipment.
Control wastage and avoid unnecessary expenses.
Check material requirements and coordinate procurement.
Maintain site records, progress reports, inspection records, and other project documents.
Coordinate with relevant parties to resolve technical and site problems quickly.
Allocate work and supervise site teams.
Monitor subcontractors' performance and ensure they follow project requirements.
Coordinate manpower and work sequences.
Ensure outstanding works and defects are rectified.
Coordinate final inspections, testing, handover, and completion documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 yrs experience of relevant construction experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, site operations and Renovation works
- Good leadership with manpower
- Ability to coordinate with clients, consultant, engineers and Subcontractors.
- Good communication and problem solving skills.
- Able to receive the calls and reply on the text any time
- 6 days work week
- Sunday need to work
- Driving License required
