Construction Site Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily construction activities between the project team, site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor work progress and ensure projects are completed according to schedule.
- Lead and supervise site workers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality standards.
- Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies.
- Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineers, consultants, and clients on site matters.
- Prepare daily site reports and update project progress.
- Plan and arrange manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
- Resolve site issues and report delays or technical problems promptly.
- Attend site meetings and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Ensure good housekeeping and proper documentation on site.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Manager.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction site supervision.
- Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Building, Civil Engineering, or Construction.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Good knowledge of construction methods and quality standards.
- Familiar with Singapore Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and under pressure.
- Possession of relevant safety certificates (e.g. Supervise Construction Work for WSH) is an advantage.
