Construction Superintendent
Location: College Park Md
Hourly 38-43
12 Month Contract
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for overall project success including but not limited to day-to-day field operations, safety, schedule, and quality
- Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings
- Investigate, document, and resolve day-to-day field issues
- Complete accurate job and progress reports and other job-related project documentation
- Develop schedules and determine sequencing of work, identify and implement recovery strategies to maintain project schedule
- Provide daily correspondence to the Project Manager related to progress and performance.
- Maintain professional working relationships with Owners, Engineers, and Subcontractors
- Ability to lead weekly project meetings with Owners and Subcontractors
- Organizing daily activities based on the goals of the project
- Ability to work with and knowledge of multiple construction trades
- Ability to proficiently work with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Have driver's license and own transportation
- Ability to work all shifts and days
- Required to have a minimum of 10 years experience with construction in the power industry.
- Required to have 5 years experience directing craft labor on construction projects in the power industry.
- This individual provides daily direction and supervision to the General Foremen on the project.
