CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities, coordinate site operations, and ensure compliance with project requirements and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities and workers at assigned project sites to ensure efficient progress
• Plan and allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment to meet daily work requirements and project timelines
• Monitor site progress and ensure completion according to project schedules and approved drawings
• Ensure construction works comply with specifications, workmanship standards, and safety regulations
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to resolve operational issues
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address workmanship, safety, or operational concerns
• Provide clear work instructions and guidance to workers and subcontractors to maintain quality and safety
• Monitor workers’ attendance, productivity, and performance to optimize site operations
• Coordinate delivery, storage, and proper usage of construction materials and equipment on site
• Inspect completed works and arrange for rectification of defects or non-compliance
• Maintain accurate site records including daily progress, manpower, and relevant documentation
• Attend site meetings and provide timely progress updates to management and stakeholders
• Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the construction worksite to maintain safety and efficiency
• Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, safe work procedures, and company safety policies
• Ensure workers use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with site safety regulations
• Report accidents, hazards, unsafe conditions, or other site issues promptly to management and safety personnel
• Assist in resolving site coordination and operational issues to minimize project delays
• Perform other site supervision and construction-related duties as assigned by management

Required competencies and certifications

• Compliance with applicable Singapore construction and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements
• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and construction-site procedures

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Relevant experience in construction site supervision
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Relevant construction or safety certifications considered an advantage

Working Conditions

• Work primarily performed at construction project sites
• Working hours follow company employment terms and Singapore employment regulations
• Overtime, weekend, or public holiday work may be required depending on project schedules and site needs
