CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR
Job Description
- Supervise daily construction site operations and workforce activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to schedules.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local building codes.
- Inspect work quality and ensure construction meets project specifications.
- Resolve on-site issues and provide practical solutions to maintain project progress.
- Monitor the use of materials, equipment, and labor to minimize waste and control costs.
- Conduct daily site inspections and maintain accurate site records and reports.
- Organize toolbox meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
- Report project updates, delays, and risks to management.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and site security at all times.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction site supervision.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Valid construction safety certification (where required by local regulations).
- Willingness to work on-site and travel between project locations if required.
- Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and comply with all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines,with flexbility to work extended hours when required.
