Construction Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Building Construction Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities and ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The successful candidate will supervise workers and subcontractors, coordinate site activities, monitor work progress, and ensure compliance with workplace safety and construction requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction activities at the worksite.
• Manage and monitor workers, subcontractors, and site personnel.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to workers based on project requirements and individual skills.
• Ensure construction work is carried out according to approved drawings, plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed within the required timeframe.
• Inspect completed and ongoing works to ensure required quality standards are maintained.
• Identify and resolve site issues, delays, and construction-related problems promptly.
• Ensure workers follow workplace safety procedures, site rules, and relevant health and safety requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify potential hazards or unsafe practices.
• Maintain proper records of site activities, work progress, materials, manpower, and equipment.
• Report construction progress, site issues, and project updates to management.
• Ensure the construction site is kept clean, organised, and safe.
