CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN
Job Description:
- Interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Assisting engineers with site surveys, collecting technical data, and estimating material requirements
- Assembling, maintaining, and repairing building systems such as electrical, plumbing, or ventilation. Constructing or fabricating parts and managing wire routing or cable termination.
- Conducting routine inspections to verify that completed work aligns with project specifications.
- Enforcing Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, monitoring hazards, and performing preventative maintenance on tools and machinery.
- Preparing service reports, logging maintenance, and keeping an inventory of supplies. Coordinating daily site activities with project engineers, subcontractors, and supervisors
- Perform construction, installation, and maintenance works at project sites.
- Assist engineers and supervisors with daily site activities.
- Operate tools and equipment safely.
- Follow all workplace safety regulations.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- Engage in the installation, repair and maintenance of various technology-base equipment
- Conduct regular checks and troubleshooting to ensure the technical equipment operates at its optimal performance
- Provide on-site assistance with hardware and software use and address and resolve technical issues faced by clients or customers.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 year of relevant construction experience preferred.
- Physically fit and willing to work at construction sites.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attitude and willingness to learn.
