A consultant/Business Analyst who advises clients on business challenges, maps processes and customer journeys, and creates financial models/reports to drive transformation projects.
Cathara Consulting are seeking an experienced Consultant/Business Analyst to join our team and support the delivery of diverse consulting engagements.
This role will suit a commercially minded professional with at least five years’ experience in a Big Four or boutique consultancy. You will bring strong stakeholder engagement, business analysis and report-writing skills, with the ability to translate complex challenges into clear, practical recommendations.
You will work with business leaders, project teams to analyse business problems, map processes and customer journeys, develop financial models and business cases, and produce high-quality client deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyse business needs, requirements, challenges and improvement opportunities.
- Map current and future-state processes and customer journeys.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery sessions.
- Analyse operating models, organisational structures and business impacts.
- Develop business cases, financial models, options analyses and benefits assessments.
- Prepare high-quality reports, decision papers, presentations and requirements documentation.
- Identify risks, issues and dependencies and provide practical recommendations.
- At least five years’ experience in a Big Four or boutique consulting firm.
- Strong business analysis, process mapping and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience in financial modelling, business cases and benefits analysis.
- Experience mapping customer journeys and improving customer outcomes.
- Excellent report-writing and executive communication skills.
- A confident facilitator who can engage diverse and senior stakeholders.
- Able to work independently and deliver polished, client-ready outcomes.
- Experience in transformation, systems implementation or operating-model engagements.
