We are seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with an Australian Board qualification to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care. The successful candidate will diagnose and manage a wide range of cardiac conditions, perform advanced non-invasive and invasive cardiac procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Requirements
Medical degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) from a recognised medical institution
Recognised specialist qualification in Cardiology, including:
- Australian Board Qualification (FRACP – Cardiology) or equivalent recognised qualification
Minimum 5 years of post-specialisation clinical experience preferred
Expertise in:
- General and preventive cardiology
- Coronary artery disease and acute coronary syndromes
- Heart failure management
- Cardiac arrhythmias
- Hypertension and lipid disorders
- Echocardiography, stress testing, and Holter monitoring
- Cardiac catheterisation and coronary angiography (preferred)
- Cardiovascular risk assessment and rehabilitation
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and leadership skills
Commitment to evidence-based practice and multidisciplinary patient care
