Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a variety of infectious diseases and related complications.
- Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans based on the latest clinical guidelines.
- Provide expert consultation to other medical departments regarding infection control and prevention.
- Monitor and analyze infection trends within the facility and participate in outbreak investigations.
- Educate patients, families, and healthcare staff on infectious disease management and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with healthcare policies and regulations.
- Engage in continuous professional development and research activities in infectious diseases.
Requirements
- Medical degree with specialization in infectious diseases or internal medicine with infectious disease training.
- Board certification or equivalent credentials in infectious diseases.
- Valid medical license to practice in Sharjah/UAE.
- Proven clinical experience managing infectious diseases in hospital or clinical settings.
- Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
