Key responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic kidney diseases, including hypertension and electrolyte disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe appropriate therapies, including dialysis management.
- Perform procedures such as renal biopsies and coordinate care for patients requiring renal replacement therapy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on kidney health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay current with advancements in nephrology through continuous education and research activities.
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution with specialization in nephrology.
- Board certification in nephrology.
- Valid medical license to practice in Sharjah or the UAE.
- Proven experience managing a broad spectrum of renal diseases in a clinical setting.
- Proficiency in performing nephrology-related procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work within multidisciplinary teams.
