Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecologist (UK/CCT) - Western Qualified

A reputed private hospital in the UAE is seeking an experienced Consultant Obstetrics & Gynecologist (UK/CCT) to provide comprehensive women's healthcare services across obstetrics, gynecology, and minimally invasive gynecological surgery. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, evidence-based clinical care, ensuring exceptional maternal and fetal outcomes while adhering to international best practices and UAE healthcare regulations.

The Consultant will work within a multidisciplinary team of obstetricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, radiologists, fertility specialists, midwives, and nursing professionals to provide patient-centered care throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the management of gynecological conditions

Requirements

· Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient obstetrics and gynecology consultations.

· Manage low-risk and high-risk pregnancies, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.

· Conduct normal vaginal deliveries, instrumental deliveries, and elective and emergency Caesarean sections.

· Diagnose and manage gynecological disorders including abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, menstrual disorders, and menopausal conditions.

· Perform major and minor gynecological surgical procedures using open, laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and minimally invasive techniques.

· Manage obstetric emergencies including postpartum hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, fetal distress, and other maternal-fetal complications.

· Perform prenatal screening, fetal assessment, and ultrasound interpretation within the scope of clinical privileges.

· Counsel patients regarding contraception, family planning, fertility preservation, reproductive health, menopause management, and preventive women's healthcare.

· Collaborate with neonatologists, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, reproductive medicine specialists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

· Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure timely clinical documentation.

· Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance activities, morbidity and mortality reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.

· Supervise and mentor junior physicians, residents, and allied healthcare professionals where applicable.
