Join a progressive oncology service delivering comprehensive cancer care within state-of-the-art radiation oncology departments.
You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams including Medical Oncology, Haematology, Surgery, and Palliative Care, providing advanced cancer treatment using modern radiotherapy technologies and evidence-based care pathways. Opportunities exist in both metropolitan and regional centres.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and manage oncology patients requiring radiotherapy
Develop and oversee radiation treatment plans
Participate in multidisciplinary cancer meetings
Contribute to teaching, research, and clinical governance
Support service development and quality improvement initiatives
✅ Requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical degree
FRCR (Clinical Oncology), FRANZCR, American/Canadian Board Certification, or equivalent specialist qualification
Eligibility for specialist registration in Australia
Experience in a tertiary cancer centre or teaching hospital preferred
UK-trained Clinical Oncologists encouraged to apply
