Roles & responsibilities
Working as a Consultant in this team, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
•Possess knowledge and understanding for statutory accounts and Audit or compliance requirements for Netherlands, India or other country.
•Preparation of Financial statement including preparing of underlying workpapers, working schedules and other supporting documentation.
•Review and analyse financial data, adjusting entries as needed to comply with GAAP.
•To provide technical and transaction-based accounting advisory support and research to international KPMG teams and clients, including implementation assistance with new accounting standards.
•Preparing of financial statements under Dutch GAAP and IFRS.
•Preparing Reporting GAAP to Local conversion.
•Training junior staff in preparation and performing audit procedures.
• Proactively interact with the internal and onshore engagement team to gather information and resolve problems related to compilation work.
•Lead the conversations with the client and onshore teams on the engagements.
Mandatory technical & functional skills
•Ability to research, read, comprehend and critically examine accounting standards and tax pronouncements in order to have an informed point of view is a MUST
•Demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
•Working knowledge of Audit methodology, materiality concept and audit documentation.

Educational qualifications
•CA / CPA / ACCA with 2+ years of exp
•Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Work experience
•Post qualification financial audit experience with a public accounting or advisory firm or similar organization.
•Experience of working with Compilation work in Netherlands, Australia or other country.
•Must have post qualification experience in audit field in any of the renowned audit firms.
•Experience working on tools like Caseware, audit tools.
