Role overview

  • Position: Consultant/specialist general surgeon
  • Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
  • Hospital type: Private/government/multispecialty/tertiary care (JCI-accredited)
  • Experience required: Minimum 3+ years post specialist/board certification
  • Practice setting: Advanced surgical unit with modern operating theatres and multidisciplinary clinical teams

The successful candidate will join a collaborative clinical environment supported by experienced surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and critical care specialists.

Board recognition & eligibility

Key responsibilities

  • Perform elective and emergency surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and open surgeries
  • Diagnose and manage a wide range of surgical conditions

  • Participate in hospital clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
  • Contribute to the development and expansion of surgical services within the hospital
  • Maintain compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and hospital clinical protocols
