Key responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage patients with urinary calculi and prostate disorders including benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer.
  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as cystoscopy, prostate biopsies, and imaging interpretation.
  • Carry out surgical interventions including lithotripsy, prostatectomy, and minimally invasive urological surgeries.
  • Develop individual treatment plans tailored to patient needs and monitor their progress.
  • Collaborate closely with nephrologists, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide patient education and counseling regarding urological conditions and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements.
  • Keep abreast of latest advancements in urology and engage in continuous professional development.

Requirements

  • Medical degree with specialization and board certification in urology.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the relevant Gulf region.
  • Proven experience in managing urinary stone disease and prostate conditions.
  • Advanced skills in endoscopic and minimally invasive urological surgeries.
  • Strong diagnostic abilities and clinical judgment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work successfully within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
