Consultant Urologist

Description

We are urgently seeking a qualified consultant urologist for an exciting opportunity in Oman. This role requires a committed specialist to provide expert diagnosis and treatment of urological conditions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of urological disorders.
• Develop and implement effective treatment and management plans for patients.
• Perform a variety of urological surgeries, including minimally invasive and laparoscopic procedures.
• Provide guidance and education to patients regarding their condition and treatment options.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare policies.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in urology through continuous education and research participation.

Requirements

• Qualified medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Completion of accredited urology residency program.
• Board certification in urology is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a consultant urologist or equivalent.
• Proven proficiency in performing urological surgical procedures.
• Strong clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for patient interaction.
• Ability to work effectively within a team-based healthcare environment.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
• Willingness to relocate to Oman on an urgent basis.
