Consultation/Liaison Psychiatry - Physician - NYC Health + Hospitals - Elmhurst Hospital Center - Queens, NY

The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai affiliated with NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, serving the culturally diverse community of Western Queens, is seeking a full-time board-certified Consultation/Liaison Psychiatrist.

This position is within the Department of Psychiatry and may be filled at the level of Division Director or Attending Psychiatrist.

• Collaborate with medical, surgical and obstetric teams to provide psychiatric care for patients with acute medical and surgical conditions that cannot be managed on inpatient psychiatry units
• A strong commitment to teaching and supervision is required, as all adult psychiatry residents rotate through this service
• Additional opportunities are available to participate in and support the Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program

• MD/DO degree
• Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
• Board certified in Psychiatry
• Valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number

Compensation

We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. We also offer a collegial environment and competitive salary to include a sign in bonus along with full benefits. Compensation ranges from 261K to 303K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)
