Container Surveyor
Summary
Inspects shipping containers for damage, prepares repair estimates, and ensures quality standards in a depot environment.
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Container Surveyor to join our operations team. This role is responsible for inspecting shipping containers, assessing repair requirements, and ensuring quality standards are maintained within the depot.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct container surveys and inspections in accordance with company and IICL standards.
Assess container damage and prepare accurate repair estimates.
Capture and upload inspection photographs and survey reports into the company's system.
Ensure smooth traffic flow at the depot gate by preventing bottlenecks before and after joint surveys.
Carry out random quality control (QC) inspections on repaired containers to ensure work meets required standards.
Liaise with depot operations, repair teams, and customers on survey-related matters.
Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Management.
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Able to work in an outdoor container depot environment.
Willing to learn and develop a career in the container logistics industry.
Prior experience in container surveying or depot operations is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
