Role Overview

The Content Manager at Dharmikvibes will manage the creation, curation, cataloguing, and digitization of all dharmik, temple, and spiritual content. The role blends strong cultural understanding with modern digital content practices—ensuring high-quality, authentic, structured, and engaging devotional content for users.

Key Responsibilities 1. Content Creation: Puja, Temples & Festivals

Create authentic, easy-to-understand content on:

Puja vidhi, samagri details, chadava traditions

Temple knowledge: history, deity information, rituals, practices

Festivals: stories, significance, mahurats, rituals

Daily, weekly, and special Hindu rituals

Develop content for articles, guides, website/app sections, social media, and video scripts.

2. Dharmik Activities Cataloguing & Structuring

Build a standardized catalogue of:

Pujas, Homams, Sevas, Utsavs

Temple services, samagri, rituals

Organize meta-structures, content templates, and consistent formatting.

Maintain image-based cataloguing to document:

Temple architecture

Sculptures

Carvings

Heritage elements

3. History & Scripture Digitization

Lead efforts to digitize spiritual literature including:

Puranas, Upanishads

Ramayana, Mahabharata

Agamas, temple manuscripts

Work with scholars and priests for accuracy.

Use language models for:

Translating Sanskrit/Prakrit/Tamil/Devnagari texts into simple modern language

Summarizing scriptures for digital consumption

Creating multi-language devotional content

4. Aarti, Bhajan & Chanting Library

Build and maintain a complete library of:

Aartis (text + audio + meaning)

Bhajans (lyrics, singer credits)

Mantras, chants, strotras (with transliteration & meaning)

Collaborate with audio/content teams for quality and consistency.

5. Daily Recommendation Content (Persona-Based)

Create personalised devotional content based on user personas such as:

Ritual-oriented users

Heritage learners

Temple knowledge seekers

Festival-following devotees

Build daily recommendation modules including:

Aarti/Bhajan of the day

Ritual suggestions

Festival reminders

Temple knowledge bites

Scripture verses with meanings

6. Strategic Planning & Coordination

Maintain dharmik content calendars for festivals, temple events, and seasonal themes.

Work closely with product, marketing, and design teams to ensure content aligns with Dharmikvibes vision and audience needs.

7. Team Coordination & Quality Control

Coordinate with writers, researchers, designers, voice-over artists.

Engage with priests, historians, temple experts for correctness.

Review all content for authenticity, accuracy, and devotional value.

Skills & Qualifications Core Skills

Deep understanding of Hindu rituals, temple culture, scriptures, mythology.

Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and research capability.

Ability to simplify and structure complex spiritual content.

Experience with cataloguing, indexing, and content library management.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with using AI tools, OCR tools, or digital documentation workflows.

Knowledge of reading Sanskrit, Hindi, or regional religious texts (optional but valuable).

Understanding of devotional user behavior and content trends.

Success Metrics

Growth, depth, and accuracy of the content library.

Engagement on daily recommendations and festival content.

User satisfaction and authenticity feedback.

Speed and quality of scripture digitization and content cataloguing.

Improvement in SEO and increased discoverability for devotional topics.
