Content Marketing Intern

General Purpose:

The Content Marketing Intern is a creative thinker that helps grow our brand and engage our audience of teens and young adults. In this paid role, the intern brainstorms and produces fun, engaging and educational content for our social media platforms and website. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, digital trends and making complex topics easy to understand.

Essential Functions:

1. Develop creative content ideas that resonate with a young audience.
2. Create and edit short-form videos (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
3. Assist with social media management, including scheduling posts and engaging with followers.
4. Write engaging captions and blog content that simplify complex topics.
5. Design graphics for posts, stories, and promotional materials.
6. Research and stay up to date on digital trends, pop culture and viral content.
7. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure a consistent brand voice.
8. Analyze content performance and suggest ways to improve engagement.
9. Assist with the execution of activations as needed.
10. Perform other duties as assigned (Pitching in to help the team).
