Job Summary:

Lansdowne Resort is seeking a creative, organized, and motivated marketing mind to help tell our story across social media, digital content, public relations, and community partnerships.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing, this position will create engaging content, help manage our content calendar and social channels, support public relations efforts, coordinate media and influencer visits, and build relationships with tourism and community partners.

This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career marketing or hospitality professional who loves travel, hospitality, social media, and storytelling and is eager to learn and grow within a full-service resort environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

? Create and coordinate photo, video, written, and social content showcasing Lansdowne Resort.

? Help manage the resort's content calendar, social channels, and seasonal storytelling.

? Identify content opportunities across food & beverage, golf, spa, wellness, weddings, meetings, recreation, and resort experiences.

? Support PR efforts including media pitches, press releases, story ideas, awards, and media outreach.

? Build relationships with local and regional media, influencers, creators, and community partners.

? Coordinate and host media, influencer, and content-creator visits.

? Work with Visit Loudoun, Virginia Tourism Corporation, and other tourism partners to maximize exposure and collaborative opportunities.

? Support resort photography and video shoots and maintain an organized library of brand assets.

? Coordinate with external marketing and PR agency partners on content, media opportunities, and larger campaigns.

? Track media coverage, social engagement, content performance, and partnership activity.

? Work across resort departments to continuously identify new stories and content opportunities.

? Support communications surrounding resort events, new experiences, renovations, and other major initiatives.

? Represent Lansdowne Resort at appropriate tourism, community, media, and networking events.

? Perform additional marketing and communications projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

? Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

? Recent graduates and early-career candidates are encouraged to apply.

? Strong writing, communication, organization, and storytelling skills.

? Creative eye and interest in photography, video, social media, and content creation.

? Familiarity with social media and content creation/editing tools.

? Self-motivated, organized, curious, and willing to take initiative.

? Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for building relationships.

? Interest in hospitality, travel, tourism, food & beverage, wellness, or lifestyle marketing.

? Previous internship or professional experience in marketing, PR, hospitality, social media, or content creation is a plus, but not required.

? Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends to support resort events, media visits, and content needs.

Portfolio / Work Samples

Candidates are encouraged to share examples of relevant work, including social content, photography, video, writing, school projects, internships, or other creative work.

Other Duties

? All Associates are required to fully comply with hotel and departmental rules, regulations, and policies for the safe, secure, effective, and environmentally friendly operation of the hotel facilities. Examples include, but are not limited to, lost and found procedures, emergency procedures, recycling efforts, etc.

? Attend and participate in all hotel and/or departmental meetings, training sessions, and other information meetings.

? Regular attendance in conformance with hotel standards is essential to the successful performance of this position.

? Comply with hotel grooming standards for both uniformed and non-uniformed Associates.

? Comply with hotel service and behavioral standards toward our guests, vendors, and fellow colleagues, including, but not limited to, ensuring proper phone etiquette, courteous and respectful behavior, and maintaining a friendly and positive attitude.

? Perform all other duties as directed by management that are consistent with the policies and procedures of the hotel.
